HABS PowerStrike — Greenpower Electric Car

Founded and led Habs’ Greenpower programme, taking it to the 2025 International Finals, winning the regional Portfolio Award at Dunsfold and securing £1,500+ in sponsorship.

  • Led CAD, manufacturing, electronics, wiring and race strategy.
  • Designed a live ESP32 + LoRa telemetry system for vehicle performance tracking.
Robotics · 2023 – present

VEX Robotics — Team 34071B

Led Habs Gliders across robot design, autonomous programming, engineering documentation and competition strategy. The team reached the 2026 VEX World Championship Finals in St. Louis and earned a Judges Award.

  • Habs’ first co-ed team to reach the VEX World Championship Finals.
  • Also built the UK’s #1 VEX Virtual Robot programme across MS/HS, #11 globally in Middle School.

Flight / Software · Jul 2026 – present

FlightEye & ATC24 Radar Development

Joined FlightEye as a beta tester and developer for an ATC radar platform serving the 70,000+ member ATC24 community, then helped contribute to a next-generation radar scope.

  • Built a separate live radar tracker with real-time flight data.
  • Created a custom map aligned to the in-game world with range and bearing tools.

Burleigh House Care Home Website

Completed work experience at Xanda, carrying a care-home website project from research through a React/Tailwind prototype into a self-hosted WordPress build.

  • Handled market research, UX thinking, performance and SEO.
  • Rebuilt the site with a custom theme, ACF and structured content systems.
  • Continue to host and manage the live site — uptime, security and ongoing content updates for the care home.

VEX Virtual Robot Programme

Developed the UK’s #1 ranked VEX Virtual Robot programme across both Middle School and High School, reaching #11 globally at Middle School level.

  • Competition-specific optimisation through iterative testing.
  • Focused on autonomous path planning, repeatability and reliability.

Pillgineers — Make:Able World Finalist

Built an assistive design project with two teammates for the Autodesk Make:Able challenge, including the product, assembly guide, user manual and four-minute submission video.

Independently researched AI adoption patterns among elderly care-home residents, examining barriers to access and proposing design improvements to make AI more accessible.

1/144 Lufthansa 747-8 — 60th Anniversary Retro Livery

3D printed a 1/144 scale Lufthansa Boeing 747-8 (D-ABYT “Köln”) on a BambuLab P1S, assembled and sanded the fuselage, then applied a full decal sheet from a student sponsorship with V1 Decals to recreate the 60th Anniversary retro livery.

The Physics of Solar Energy

Team research investigating the optimal solar panel tilt angle for maximum energy generation across simulated seasonal sun angles, finding 30–40° consistent with published research, plus a CAD, 3D-printed and laser-cut model of a panel’s internal structure.
