01 / Profile

Functional technology, built with purpose.

I am a Year 11 student at Haberdashers’ Boys’ School, passionate about creating functional and innovative technologies — whether it is building an electric car, designing a robot, or writing code that addresses real-world challenges.

As the founder and lead engineer of HABS PowerStrike, Habs’ Greenpower electric car team, I helped revive the school programme, led the team to the 2025 International Finals and developed a wireless telemetry system using ESP32 and LoRa for live performance tracking. I also lead VEX Robotics Team 34071B, Habs Gliders, which reached the 2026 World Championships in St. Louis and earned a Judges Award.

Beyond engineering, I serve as Editor-in-Chief of ENIGMA, Habs’ Computer Science magazine, run an e-commerce business on eBay and Etsy, and work on side projects spanning web, hardware and mobile development. My independent research explores the adoption of AI chatbots by elderly users.

My open-source work has built a community of more than 1,000 GitHub followers, and in June 2026 I ranked among the top 256 UK public committers to open-source projects.

03 / Engineering & robotics

From telemetry to autonomous strategy.

Apr 2024 – present

Founder & Lead Engineer · HABS PowerStrike

Lead CAD, manufacturing, electronics and race strategy for the Greenpower car. Built a wireless ESP32/LoRa telemetry system for live performance data, secured £1,500+ in sponsorship and developed a mentorship pipeline for junior engineers.

Jul 2023 – present

Team Leader · VEX Robotics

Lead Habs Gliders 34071B across robot design, autonomous programming, engineering documentation and competition strategy. The team reached the 2026 World Championships and won a Judges Award. I also developed the UK’s #1 ranked VEX Virtual Robot programme across Middle School and High School, reaching #11 globally at Middle School level.

04 / Professional & technical experience

Building for real users and communities.

Jul 2026 – present · Remote

Beta Tester & Developer · FlightEye

Joined the ATC radar platform for the 70,000+ member ATC24 community, contributing to radar capability and user experience. Alongside this, I built my own live tracker with real-time flight data, a custom in-game map, and range and bearing tools. The founder later invited me to contribute to the next radar scope with enhanced real-time functionality.

Jul 2026 · Xanda Ltd

Work Experience · Burleigh House Care Home website

Conducted market research and user-centred design, built an initial React/Tailwind application, optimised performance and SEO, then led migration to self-hosted WordPress with a custom theme, Advanced Custom Fields and structured data for content and engagement.

Jul 2026 · Queen Mary University of London

Shadowing Professor Kaspar Althoefer

Shadowed work at the Centre for Advanced Robotics and observed interdisciplinary research spanning robotics, aerospace fluid dynamics, research funding and collaboration between academics, postdoctoral researchers and PhD students.

2024 – present

E-commerce owner · eBay & Etsy

Sell electronic components and custom 3D-printed products, managing sourcing, production, pricing, fulfilment and customer service end-to-end.

05 / Research & publishing

Technology, accessibility and communication.

For my CREST Silver Award, I surveyed 19 residents aged 60–100 in a Hertfordshire care home to understand technology habits, chatbot awareness and accessibility needs. The study found that motivation, perceived value and trust can be greater barriers to adoption than technical capability.

As Editor-in-Chief of ENIGMA Computer Science Magazine, I lead editorial direction, coordinate STEM and art contributors, and have planned expansion into a wider multi-school collaboration.
